My approach to counselling & coaching my clients involves an extensive array of skills, knowledge, techniques & years of life experience.

​During coaching sessions I like to incorporate all elements of my expertise to ensure I help my clients get to the root cause of their problems, thoroughly work through their limitations & find the resources within to life a positive & fulfilling life.
​
There are moments in life where we can encounter trauma, relationship problems, grief or loss, fear, anxiety or just feel confused about what direction to take in our lives. Often we will turn to friends and family to help us deal with our challenges however there are times where some of the problems we face are too much to manage on our own. Seeking the help & support from a professional can be very helpful.
Counselling is a process of talking about and working through personal problems with me. I will guide my clients to address their problems in a positive way getting to the root cause for a problem by helping them to identify & clarify the issues, explore options, develop strategies & increase self-awareness. For some people, just the process of telling their story to me, and being listened to, is helpful. My approach to counselling is about empowering people to redesign their mind set & transform their life the way they want it!
Counselling provides confidential support which means that everything that is discussed with me is private, with the exception of my legal duty of care to report something that threatens someones wellbeing or the wellbeing of others.
There are many different types of approaches and techniques used in a session depending on each individuals needs. My clients healing journey will be tailored to their needs & guided by them, & I will walk alongside them as they take each step towards improving & transforming their life.
Hypnotherapy
​I have been a practicing hypnotherapist for over 6 years, over this time I have experienced & witness the amazing results achieved through the power of hypnosis. I have helped my clients to overcome & heal from many of their limitations, unhealthy habits, fears, illness & traumas which has been so wonderful to witness.
​
There are many perceptions of what hypnotherapy is, the most common myth is being able to make someone "cluck like a chicken". You can be relieved that hypnotherapy does not require anyone to cluck like a chicken, in actual fact, Hypnotherapy is a guided hypnosis, or a trance-like state of focus and concentration that can be facilitated & achieved with the help of a skilled hypnotherapist.

The trance-like state is like being absorbed by a movie, book or our own thoughts or meditations, completely relaxing. In this state you can turn your attention inward to find and utilize the natural resources within that can help to make changes or gain control in certain areas of life.
​
Hypnotherapy is useful for managing stress, anxiety, depression, fears, addictions, weight loss or even for building confidence.
​
​During hypnosis I guide my clients on an inner journey where they will follow some suggestions that can alter thoughts, perceptions, sensations and behaviour. Suitable suggestions will be discussed & negotiated beforehand & then applied during hypnosis. The process requires 100% of your consent & cooperation, there is no hocus locus magic, you are in total control of the entire experience.

Once the mind enters a trance like state, a deep sense of relaxation is experienced which will make the suggestions easier to alleviate any problems. Significant reduction or removal of symptoms can be achieved by a few regular sessions and over time I can even train a person to perform their own hypnotherapy at home.

Kinesiology
​
Kinesiology is an ancient holistic modality that combines principles of western medicine with eastern philosophy that uses muscle monitoring to access information stored in the body that helps to identify the condition of persons health & wellbeing.
​
Kinesiology is a non-invasive holistic practice that as been practised for many years & uses muscle reflex testing to access the subconcious mind, to determine any imbalances in the body & to clear & restore any mental, emotional, physical & spiritual stress from the body.
​
The aim is to make the information stored in the unconcious, concious, to bring harmony & balance back to the bodies natural triad of health.
A Kinesiology session will often run for up to 90 minutes, during the session we collect information about your current physical stress & find remedies that can help clear stress & bring equilibrium back to your body.
Personal Breakthrough
A breakthrough session is one of my personal favourites, as I have personally experienced the transformational effects of this session as being one of the quickest & most effective ways to fast track healing & takes my clients to the core of truth, breaking through negative emotions, limiting beliefs & limiting decisions.

​A breakthrough session is comprised of a set of advanced NLP & hypnotherapy techniques delivered by me. During the session I use specialised techniques to focus on identifying unhelpful behaviour, thought patterns & limiting beliefs & then using a set of strategic techniques to expand the barriers created in the mind.
In doing this the mind is able to form new neural pathways or patterns in thinking that are more positive where the mind is able to identify the possibilities & opportunities available which were not clear before.
During a breakthrough session my clients spend a full day with me to breakthrough everything that is holding them back in your life.
​
Following the breakthrough session, an inclusive 60 minute follow up session will be provided to help you clear up anything that has risen while integrating any new learnings & patterns.

I have worked with individuals of all ages and backgrounds, in one on one and group settings, working with depression, addictions, mental health illnesses, abuse, trauma, grief & loss, self-esteem & life-transitions.
I have witnessed people transforming right in front of my eyes & it was an absolute joy to have facilitated their healing journey.​
